dc.description.abstractModern life and advanced as today, many ways to meet the economic needs of society. Mining in Indonesia have been carried out both companies and individuals, mining is often a warm conversation, in because of the natural resources that can be used as a tool to make money for the survival of Indonesian society. Indonesia is rich in natural resources are often created as a place for investment by foreign countries and many Indonesian communities that depend on mining life. In article 23, paragraph 3 of the 1945 Constitution states that "Earth, water and natural resources contained there in shall be controlled by the state and used for the greatest prosperity of the people". The explanation, say that everything is given to the welfare of Indonesian society. So is the case in this study, which was conducted in an illegal mine in the village Hutabargot nauli, kecamatan Hutabargot , kabupaten Mandailing Natal. This research uses descriptive studies that aim to describe the picture of social and economic conditions gold mining, both based on indicators of social and economic indicators, the study was conducted at the location of the gold mining illegal status in the village Hutabargot nauli, kecamatan Hutabargot , kabupaten Mandailing Natal. Doing a way to take the main informant amounting to 5 people from artisanal mining workers who are married, and 1 (one) additional informants from artisanal mining financier. The data collect were done by observation, interviews, and documentation in the form of photos and data obtained in the field field. While the method of data analysis is qualitative to describe explanation of the social and economic situation of gold miners from the data that has been collected. From the data that has been collected and analyzed it can be concluded that the state of social and economic picture of the gold miners in the Village Hutabargot Nauli, Kecamatan Hutabargot , Kabupaten Mandailing Natal enough to change the lives and incomes in the presence of this gold mining. This is what makes gold mining illegal status is still continuing to this day, because of the presence of these artisanal mining society in rural incomes increased Hutabargot nauli and make public can meet social and economic needs.en_US
