dc.description.abstractResearch on the characterization of Batu Opal Stones, Pune Stones, Satam Stones with XRD, SEM-EDS and Hardness. Opal stones have a hexagonal crystal system with lattice parameters a = b = 4.9093 Å, c = 5.3969 Å, Quartz SiO2 phase with mass fraction of 100%, O = 26.38 wt%, Si = 12.64 wt%, With a hardness 426 HVN. Turquoise stones have Hexagonal crystal system with lattice parameters a = b = 5.3205 Å, c = 7279 Å, Al0.15Fe0.06H4Mg2.82O9Si1.94 Lizardite phase with 24.51% and the mass fraction of monoclinic crystals with lattice parameters a = b = 5,357 Å and C = 28.835 Å, Al0.865Fe0.255H4Mg2.292O9Si1.588 Chlorite phase, with a mass fraction of 75.49%. Elements C = 3.95 wt%, O = 49.37 wt%, Mg = 22.69% by weight, Al = 1.47% by weight, Si = 17.14% by weight, Fe = 2.91% by weight and Cu = 2.52% by weight, hardness 98 HVN. Satam stones had Hexagonal crystal system with lattice parameters a = b = 4.9086 Å and c = 5.3969 Å, Quartz SiO2 phase with 86.27% and the mass fraction Hexagonal crystal system with lattice parameters a = b = 4.7098 Å and c = 16,224 Å, Dolomite phase Ca0.5Mg0.5CO3, with mass fraction 13,73% and silica mineral with mass fraction 86,27%. Elements C = 46.87% by weight, O = 26.38 wt%, Mg = 6.13 wt%, Si = 12.64% by weight, Ca = 6.28 wt% and Fe = 1.69% by weight, with Hardness 324 HVN.en_US
