Poverty is a problem experienced by countries in the world, including Indonesia. These problems are the responsibility of the state, especially the central and local governments. Local governments that are also responsible for reducing poverty levels use funding sources to be allocated to aspects that are believed to be able to reduce poverty levels, either directly or indirectly. Sources of funds owned by local governments are transfer funds in the form of General Allocation Funds (DAU), Special Allocation Funds (DAK), and Revenue Sharing Funds (DBH), also Local Revenue (PAD). This research aims to examine the effect of transfer funds, namely DAU, DAK, and DBH, with PAD to Poverty Levels in districts/cities of North Sumatera Province. This research used secondary data from the publication of BPS with time series data from 2016 to 2020. The objects of this research are 33 districts/citiesin North Sumatera Province. The analytical method that used in this research is Panel Data Analysis with Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The results of this research show that partially the transfer funds variable in the form of DAU has a negative dan insignificant effect on the poverty level, DAK has negative and insignificant effect on poverty level, and DBH has a negative and insignificant effect on poverty level, PAD variabelalso has a negative and insignificant effect on poverty level in districts/cities of North Sumatera Province. Simultaneously the variable of transfer funds consisting of DAU, DAK, and DBH, with PAD variable have a significant effect on poverty level in districts/cities of North Sumatera Province.
