ABSTRACT
AirAsia Indonesia is a company that many foreign airlines offer trips at a
low cost so much in demand by the people of Indonesia, especially the city of Medan.
This, of course will lead to a problem of competition for domestic airlines. Therefore,
researchers will discuss the factors that become a strategy of excellence airline
AirAsia Indonesia through several variables, namely comfort, safety, price, facilities,
refund, promotion, service, service, access to booking, punctuality of departure,
handling complaints and brand. The results show the advantages of data factors
airline AirAsia Indonesia Medan meet the test of the adequacy of the data indicated
assumptions with KMO value 0.658 and assumption test Bartlett's test indicated the
value of Sig. chi-square 0.000. In addition, the common factor is formed by 4 factors,
this result was obtained from eigenvalue of components more than 1 there are 4
components. In general, the variables that enter first factor is price, Refund,
Promotion, Rute_Penerbangan, and Handling_Complain. Factor 2 the variables are
comfort and Ketepatan_Waktu. Variables on 3 factors are Services,
Akses_Pemesanan_Tiket, Brand. As well as variable Security and Facility entered into
a factor of 4. Factor 1 called 'flagship product AirAsia'. Factor 2 was named
'Customer Satisfaction'. Factor 3 is called 'Customer Satisfaction'. As well as Factor 4
is called 'Level Security Powered Facility Airlines'.
