Synthesis active material cathode LiFe0.9Ni0.1PO4/C with solid state methode and
pyrolysis has been done. The base materials used is powder LiOH.H2O as Li-ion
source, Fe2O3 as Fe source, Ni as Ni source, H3PO4 solution as PO4 source and
tapioca powder as carbon source. In this observation used variation of tapioca
composition with active materials 1:4, 1:5, and 1:6. Characterization using X-Ray
Diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), dan Electrochemical
Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS). This analysis result indicate each composition has a
conductivity of 0,01x10-3 S/cm for composition 1:4, 4,44x10-3 S/cm for composition
1:5 and 1,51x10-3 S/cm for composition 1:6. The optimum composition is the
composition of 1:5. Because with enough carbon composition has a regular crystal
area, and also has many pores so that the lithium ions would easily diffuse and result
high conductivity.
