Has done research manufacture and characterization of polymer roof are made from a mixture of asphalt - aggregate sand and polyester reinforced with glass fiber. The study was conducted to determine the optimum mix of fiber glass and sand aggregates as independent variables with variation composition 0: 40 gr, 2.5 to 37.5 gr, 5: 35 gr, 7.5: 32.5 gr, 10: 30 gr, 12.5: 27.5 gr, 15: 25 gr, 17.5: 22.5 gr. Then added 0.5 gram of catalyst, 1% DVB and DCP 1% as the initiator. Then pressed with Hot Compressor for two hours at 50 ° C at a pressure of 38 atm. Properties - properties that were tested include tile water absorption, impact strength and flexure strength. The results of this study indicate that the optimum mixture is mixture variation of 12.5: 27.5 grams which provide physical and mechanical strength is good with the addition of 20 grams of asphalt serves as a water barrier.en_US
