Pengaruh Faktor Lingkungan terhadap Konsentrasi Belajar Mahasiswa Menggunakan Analisis Jalur (Studi Kasus Mahasiswa FMIPA USU Angkatan 2013)

Abstract

ABSTRACT Most of student’s problem in learning is their less concentration on what they learn. There are many causes of this condition such as they are thinking about homework, thinking about someone or they are thinking about what they have to do. Basicly, everybody has ability to concentrate mind for something or a subject, but the amount of this ability is different for each person. This research discusses about environmental factors which influence student’s concentration in learning, the factors are physiology, psychology, family and friends, neighbourhood, academic and organization environment. To know how specific the influence of environmental factors on the student’s concentration, this research uses path analysis. Path analysis is a technique which is used to analyze the relationship of cause and effect that occurs on multiple regression if the independent variable affects the dependent variable, both direct and indirect. Structural equation model obtained is: Simultaneously, family and friends factor (X3), and academic and organization factor (X5) give positive and significance influence on students’s concentration (X6).
