dc.description.abstractThe research about the Analysis of the Radiographic Image Quality by using a Variation of the Grid ratio and Grid Construction had been done. With a variation of stepwedge as an object, the exposure with the variation of the tube voltage 70 kV-90 kV starts with an increase at 5 kV. Determining the relationship of image quality radiograph of the variation grid ratio and grid construction, the exposure of the stepwedge using three grid ratios are 6:1, 8:1, 10:1 with the construction of linier grid and focus grid alternately by measuring the density value of average films each step using a densitometer. Grid with a grid ratio of 6:1 has the highest average density at 2,26 D on the tube voltage of 90 kV, the grid ratio of 8:1 is 2,16 D, while the grid ratio of 10:1 is 2,04 D. The Contrast value obtained in the grid ratio 6:1 is 1,85 D with the tube voltage 75 kV and the lowest grid ratio of 10:1 is 1,246 D. Contrast radiography grid high ratio was found to be smaller than low grid ratio. Linier grid construction of grid ratio 10:1 has the maximum average density lower than grid ratio 8:1 at 2,04 D on the tube voltage 90 kV. Linier grid construction of grid ratio 8:1 has the minimum average density which is lower than grid ratio 10:1 at 0,20 D on the tube voltage 70 kV. The Focus grid construction with grid ratio 6:1 has the highest maximum average density on the tube voltage 90 kV is 2,26 D and the lowest minimum average density on the tube voltage 70 kV is 0,24 D.en_US
