dc.description.abstractStability DFB laser diode types (Distributed Feedback) is the key that must be considered when a laser is used as light sources in a sensor and optical instruments. The DFB laser stability can be affected by two factors: the temperature and injection current. LabView software with data acquisition Labjack U6 is used as an interface to control specific parameters observed. The testing it was found that the stability of temperature versus time of 0,0001 ºC/s due to the temperature can change the wavelength of the DFB laser and injection current stability with respect to time of 0,0005 mA/s due to the current can change the optical power of the laser. In addition it obtained the influence of injection current value of the temperature increase is 5,1633 ºC/A and the influence of temperature variations on the current value of the injection 0,005 mA/ºC. So the use of the interface in observing the control parameter is helpful in observing stability DFB laser.en_US
