dc.description.abstractDigital viscometer based on Arduino Uno has been successfully constructed by falling-sphere method. The tested liquid consist of glycerin, oil Shell Advance AX5 dan Tropical cooking oil. The measurement result using digital viscometer showed that the viscosity values of glycerin = 12.261 Poise, oil Shell Advance AX5 = 4.302 Poise and Tropical cooking oil = 1.499 Poise while using conventional method result glycerin = 12.013 Poise, oil Shell Advance AX5 = 4.496 Poise and Tropical cooking oil = 1.496 Poise. The digital viscometer is similar to conventional method as far as the viscosity value is concerned. Therefore, designed viscometer has ability to measure viscosity of liquids. Correction factor by Faxen derived from O’seen equation in measurement make the result more accurate.en_US
