dc.description.abstract | A research on the preparation of LiFe0.7Mn0.2Ni0.1PO4/C cathode sheets wich will
be used as cathode of lithium-ion battery has been conducted. The starting
materials are active material powder of LiFe0.7Mn0.2Ni0.1PO4/C as filler, whereas
the polymer material PVdF as matrix, conductive additives are acetylene black
and DMAC solvent with composition ratio of 85 : 10 : 5. The samples were
prepared by using doctor blade methode. Research has been done to get optimum
drying temperature in the fabrication of cathode sheets by doing a variety of
drying temperature is 60oC, 70oC and 80oC. Identification phase from the active
material powder of cathode was done by X-ray Diffraction (XRD). Morphological
structure sheet with SEM. Testing the performance of the cathode sheets
LiFe0.7Mn0.2Ni0.1PO4/C as cell lithium ion battery cathode formed in the coin cell.
The research showed that the LiFe0.7Mn0.2Ni0.1PO4/C cathode sheets has a highest
conductivity was 3,1 x 10-5 S/cm on drying temperature of 80oC. The test results of
cyclic voltammetry cathode sheets have a reversible cycle with the ability for
oxidation-reduction process. Battery performance was analyzed by
charge/discharge capacity test. The drying temperature of 80°C showed discharge
specific capacity of LiFe0.7Mn0.2Ni0.1PO4/C is 4,1 mAh/g. Battery cells also
showed a cell voltage reached 4.4 V. | en_US |
