dc.description.abstract | Research on the addition effect of Na2O in material barium hexaferrite
(BaFe12O19) by using the method metallurgy has been done. Na 2O additive
variations include : 0%, 1%, 2% and 3% wt and temperature sintering variations

C hold for 1 hours. The
characterizations was conducted : measurement of true density, keel fuel, bulk
density, porosity, flux density, VSM test and microstructure analysis using XRD.
From the analysis by XRD obtained that results seen is the phase BaFe12O19 as
the phase dominant to sample additive all with Na2O 0%, 1%, 2% and 3% wt.
From the results of the physical characterization is obtained the best results is to
adding Na2O 1% with the temperature sintering 1100

C, with a keel fuel 11,5%,
porosity 1%, and a bulk density 3,84 gr/cm

, With the addition of additives Na2O
(1%, 2% and 3% wt) this value of magnetic properties decline. The magnetic flux
of 548,2 G found in temperature sintering 1200
o
C with additive Na2O 1%. From
the testing VSM for additive Na2O 1% obtained coercivity value 0,982 KOe, the
remanence 25,72 emu/g and value saturation the magnetic 47,24 emu/g. | en_US |
