    Rancangan Sistem Pengontrolan dan Pengamanan Kebocoran LPG Berbasis Mikrokontroler ATMega32 dengan Menggunakan Media Informasi SMS

    Abstract
    A research has been designed of the control and scurity system of LPG-Gas leakage based on ATMega32 microcontroller with short message services (SMS) media as dual direction and long distance communication. To preventing the fire of gas leakage, programmed solenoid valve in the system would be blocking the gas flow automatically. A control by SMS would command the system to turning off the buzzer and actifying the fan until the gas consentration reduce to under 800 ppm. The equipment used ATMega32 microcontroller as data processor of DT Sense LPG sensor MQ-6 circuit. The communication method of the electronics system used RS-232 integrated with GSM Wavecom Fastrack M1306b module to sending and receiving the instructuion by SMS. Base on testing result, the system which detected the leakage of gas showed the maximum value of sensor reading for ±3500 ppm and without gas leakage showed minimum value i.e. 500 ppm. To reaching the stable reading of gas consentration, DT-Sense LPG sensor MQ-6 needed ±90 second. By actifying the fan, time used to recovery in normal condition after the leakage were ± 400 second.
