dc.description.abstractABSTRACT Fuzzy logic is a method for analyzing systems that contain uncertainty. In this study Mamdani method and Sugeno method are in used. Designing the system to obtain the output is done in stage by stage (a) Establishment of a fuzzy set, (b) Application implication function, (c) Composition of the rules, (d) The assertion (defuzzyfication). In this study defuzzyfication done using centroid method with the help of MATLAB 6.1 software toolbox fuzzy. This study aims to determine the optimum production of coffee of PT SARIMAKMUR TUNGGALMANDIRI. From the research that has been done, by inserting the input variable is the number of requests and the amount of inventory every month so will result in optimum production output number. Amount of the coffee producted by the company most different with use Fuzzy-Mamdani method and Fuzzy-Sugeno method. Mamdani method uses the technique of defuzzification of a fuzzy output, while Sugeno method uses weighted average to compute the crisp output. Mamdani method has output membership function whereas Sugeno method has no output membership function. Key Word: Fuzzy - Mamdani, Fuzzy - Sugeno, Inventory Controlen_US
