dc.description.abstract | Manufacture of permanent magnet materials Barium Hexaferrite with raw
materials BaCO3 (pure) and Fe2O3 (pure and mill scale) via metelurgi method
powder reaction by varying of the sintering temperature: 1150oC, 1200oC, 1250oC
and 1300oC with holding time for 1 hour and print isotropy and anisotropy. The
characterization include: physical properties (density, fuel and shrinkage porosity),
magnetism (flux density and VSM) and XRD analysis. XRD analysis of the phase
that is formed for both types of samples is BaFe12O19 as dominant phase. From the
hysteresis curve with the raw material of pure Fe2O3 and Fe2O3 mill scale on
testing the VSM can know the value of remanent induction (σr) 17.80-20.78
emu/g, coercivity (Hc) 118.4-158.6 kOe and magnetic saturation (σs) 38.45-45.16
emu/g , Characterization of the nature magnetic, the biggest value of the magnetic
flux is 381.1 G at a temperature of 1150oC in printing isotropy with pure
ingredients. From the measurement results has showed that the density tends to
rise and porosity values tend to fall. The optimum condition is achieved on pure
ingredients with isotropy print on sintering temperature 1300oC. The variations
effect of the sintering temperature tend to increased the density and decreased the
porosity and magnetic properties. | en_US |
