dc.description.abstractHas done research on the induction heating of the test material by using solenoide coil, wherein the induction heaters generate heat in the load affected by the induction of the magnetic field, this is because the metal arising eddy current or eddy currents whose direction the circular as a result of magnetic induction causing flux magnetic, causing heat to the load.Induction heating required to make a tool that is capable of generating electrical energy. The tool is used at 24 Volts, where strong currents used 40 Ampere. This circuit uses the power supply and assembled using major components consisting of transfomator, diodes, MOSFET transistors, resistors, capacitors, inductors, and the tool is designed based mirokontroller ATMega 8535.Induction heating is designed in the resonance frequency of 50KHz, and then tested to make the process of heat treatment on the surface of the specimen steel or iron, causing heat. The test results obtained can be used to calculate the amount of heat energy and energy efficiency of induction heating devices.en_US
