dc.description.abstractFORECASTING AMOUNT OF CREDIT CARD CUSTOMERS AT PT. BANK PERMATA CABANG MEDAN USING SMOOTHING EXPONENTIAL ONE PARAMETER FROM BROWN ABSTRACT Forecasting is important for companies in formulating corporate strategy in the future. Therefore, an appropriate forecasting method is absolutely necessary that the campany can get maximum benefit from a forecasting process. One of problem that experienced by company is in fulfilling request amount credit card. Request data credit card is a time series data so to forecasting the request amount credit card used by time series technique. PT.Bank Permata Cabang Medan by use Smoothing exponential one parameter from Brown model to be based on data amount of customers from April 2010- April 2013. In the Research is obtained that data have enough to researched. For parameters estimation model is done by Mean Squared Error Method so obtained corret model to forecasting amount of customers at PT.Bank Permata Cabang Medan which can be formulated is the following: =2107,786039+ 86,24286584 (m) Keywords : Parameters, MSE, Brown model, and Credit Carden_US
