Analisis Pengaruh Slice Thickness Terhadap Citra CT Scan dengan Kasus Sinus Paranasal Pengguna Gigi Palsu Implan

Abstract

Artifacts is a disturbance in the image display CT Scan . Has conducted a study on the analysis of effect image slice thickness CT Scan with cases of paranasal sinus users dentures implan. Slice thickness used is 1, 3, 5 and 7 mm. The riset in Radiology Pirngadi Hospital Medan. The results of research that the slice thickness of 1mm is 3,18D obtained a description of the larger artifacts, slice thickness 7 mm is 2,54D obtained a description of the artifacts on the wane ( a little ) and the size of the slice thickness 7 mm produced a picture image with a CT Scan of the paranasal sinuses low detail, while the size of the slice thickness of 1 mm will produce a picture with high detail.
