dc.description.abstractManufacturing of magnetic powders Nd2Fe14B as a basic material to produce permanent magnet. The process in manufacturing magnetic powders Nd2Fe14B with Ndrich was conducted by mixing Neodymium powders (Nd). Iron powders (Fe), and boron powders (B) in a vacuum. Ratio of composition are Nd 1,33 gram; 3,62 gram; B 0,05 gram with total mass 5 gram and then heat treatment was conducted to 720ºC. The results are Nd2Fe14B powder and then variation was conducted with addition of Nd 0,3 gram and 0,7 gram. After that, heat treatment was conducted to 720ºC. The samples were conducted by characterization of magnetic properties using VSM, microstructure analysis using SEM-EDX and phase analysis using XRD. The result of study shows that addition of Nd 0,7 gram to Nd2Fe14B increase the value of energy product (BHmax). The value of Mr = 446,5 G, Ms = 3496,01 G, Hc = 261,1 Oe and BHmax = 17,83 KGOe was obtained in addition of Nd 0,7 gram.en_US
