dc.description.abstract | Research has been done regarding radiation doses analysis to be applied
in the ICU room in form of simulation.. In this research the writer measures direct
radiation from distances ranging from 1 meter, 2 meters, and 3 meters, and a
variety of exposure factors from 50 kV, 60 kV, and 70 kV and distances of
different mA from four sides of an Xray tube as well as using surverymeter tools,
with the goal of determining the safe distance for other ICU patients to radiation
exposure and determining the safe position for the radiology operator when
exposing radiation. The results showed a very strong relationship between the
value of mA and strong currents as well as the distance to the value of radiation
dose and radiation exposure directly. Which means that the greater the value of
mA and strong currents, will made the greater value of the dose and the greater
radiation exposure.Parameter changes of strong currents and mA value addition
affects the quality of the image also affects to the value of radiation dose received
by the patient's and exposure radiation around the ICU | en_US |
