dc.description.abstractOBJEK RANKING METHOD WITH DATA GROUPING BASED ON QUANTILE ABSTRACT Data ordering is one of the important operation in data processing. Basically, there are two kinds of conditions in data ordering, that are ascending dan descending. The purpose of data ordering is to make easier data searching process whenever the data is needed. Beside of that, the ordering also be aimed to get ranked, such as in determine superior object, and others. The quantile method is a method of separating or dividing data become certain quantiles. Quantile is the observation values which divide the data become N parts equally. To find the location of quantiles, first the data must be ordered. The main purpose is to determine the differences of data entirely with quantile data depend on the means by using R programming. This paper show that if the value of partial data be greater, then the order of data will be closer to the actual data order. Keyword : ordering, quantile, means, R programmingen_US
