dc.description.abstractHas made the design of lighting systems and security door using a gsm based atmega 8535. Broadly speaking the design consists of several this part namely gsm, microcontroller, stepper motors, and sensors. GSM is a type of communications network works by sending data based on time slots that make up the path on each connection with a very fast time span. Microcontroller is a chip that serves as an electronic circuit and controller can store program. Stepper motors are one type of dc motor controlled by digital pulses. Sensors is something that is used to detect changes in the environment or chemicals, the variable output of the sensor is converted into electrical quantities, called a transducer. The purpose of this design is it is to apply microcontroller 8535 as a controller using a data acquisition via network gsm. The working principle of this tool is to provide user commands via sms. Sms received by gsm and pulled her into the microcontroller and also the results of sensor readings entered into the microcontroller.en_US
