This study aims to determine the effect of the addition and usage duration of oregano essential oil on the elastic modulus of auto-polymerized silicone SDL. The sample used in this study was auto-polymerized silicone SDL which was made using a dumbbell-shaped mold measuring 50 mm x 10 mm x 10 mm. A total of 40 samples (n=40) were divided into 8 groups (n=5). Samples were placed in an incubator at 37°C for 1 day and 7 days for the negative control group, the nystatin-added group, and the 3.125% oregano essential oil-added group. Whereas in the 0.5% sodium hypochlorite immersion group, the samples were first placed in an incubator at 37°C for 24 hours as a simulation of oral conditions. Then the samples were immersed in 0.5% sodium hypochlorite solution for 15 and 105 minutes assuming a usage duration of 1 day and 7 days. Measurement of the elastic modulus was carried out by a stress relaxation test using the universal testing machine (UTM). Data were analyzed using the univariate test to determine the mean value and standard deviation of the elastic modulus for each group. One-way ANOVA to determine the effect of addition oregano essential oil based on usage duration and paired T-test to determine the effect of usage duration.en_US
