ABSTRACT
At the college level, assessment of academic achievement expressed (GPA).
Performance index is a number that indicates achievement or progress of students in
each semester. Path analysis model is used to analyze the pattern of relationships
between variables in order to determine the direct and indirect effects between
independent variables with the dependent variable. Use of path analysis in this study
aims to determine the variables that affect performance and how much influence
directly or indirectly. Obtained using path analysis results indicate that the four
variables that significantly influence the research achievements include (interest),
(learning method), (teaching method) and (motivation). And the model equations are
derived from studies using path analysis is
2 1 2 3 1 2 ++= + + 584,0314,0153,0221,0217,0 eYXXXY . Where the four research
variables simultaneously influence by 65.8%.
