The digital era in Indonesia is growing rapidly during the Covid-19 pandemic which so far provided a new style of learning, namely online and offline, and this gives teachers a new responsibility to be technology literate. Zenius Education is one of tutoring that has carried out training for teachers to be able to teach online competently during this pandemic. This research examines how the construction of meaning that arises from the Zenius training for teachers, how the communication model that occurs during the training takes place, and the training model that is applied improves teaching competence for teachers. This research is carried out with a qualitative descriptive method. The subjects in the research is Zenius Education and the informants are determined using a purposive technique, namely with the criteria that they had carried out training for teachers in the North Sumatra region. The research results obtained from this research find that Zenius training for teachers has a positive meaning to improve teacher digital literacy, motivate and ease the burden of teachers in digital teaching. The Wilbur Schramm Communication Model is employed during the training which adheres to a one-way communication system but emphasizes the process of interpreting and recoding every message received by the communicant. The framework of thinking and experience of the communicant and communicator affects the quality of the message conveyed. The training implemented by Zenius is carried out directly with a socialization model, practice using applications and websites along with question and answer sessions. At the end of the training, Zenius will train a teacher until that teacher is proficient to be able to train other teachers at school using Zenius. Several obstacles can occur during the training process, such as poor teacher digital literacy, limited internet and facility. however, the credibility of Zenius who trains is able to overcome these obstacles.
