dc.description.abstractMeasurement the rate of dioxide nitrogen ( NO2) on the air around industrial area of Medan site. Measurement of wind Speed, temperature of air and air dampness to know the meteorology factor influence to rate of NO2. The measurement was conducted in april 2010. The Measurement location is resident settlement of taken place at Industrial area of Medan site within 4-km radius. The area is divided into 8 sampling dot. The Measurement NO2 use a set appliance impinger later; then analysed with the spectrophotometer (Saltzman Method). The obtained in this research is that rate NO2 of resident settlement around industrial area of medan is still in the condition which not endanger the health. The highest NO2 rate there are in first dot with the rate 335.8 µg/Nm3 and the lowest of there are in sixth dot with the rate 58.9 µg/Nm3 .en_US
