dc.description.abstractThis research is done for the usage of rice straw waste for the concrete block manufacturing. The variation of rice straw ash composition of the sand are : 0%, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40% and 50%, with 28 days hardening time. The parameters test are: compressive strength, impact strength, hardness, water absorption and density. The sample are mold with the pressure of 150 kgf. From the test results showed that the concrete block with the best composition variation is 10% rice straw ash of sand mass. In these compositions, the resulting samples are characterized by : compressive strength of 9,06 MPa, impact strength of 1,47x104 J/m2 , hardness of 88 HB, water absorption of 13,32%, and density of 1,75 gr/cm3 .en_US
