dc.description.abstractA research has done bases on zeolit and additive wood powder by using ball mill along as 24 hours ,dried in the oven at 100°C for 3 hours, sieved until through out 100 mesh. The next step, that wood powder variation in 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 % (massa) of wood powder, then sintering at temperatur 900, 1000, dan 1100°C. The sample has already burning ready to have test the density, burned shrinking, porosity, water absorbtion, coefficient of thermal expantion, bending strength, compressive strength, XRD and SEM analysis. From the measure result showed the density between 1,704 -2,303 gr/cm3 , burned shrinking : 6,55 – 54,096 %, porosity : 25,556 – 82,033 %, water absorbtion : 11,08 – 48,13 %, coefficient of thermal expantion : 4 – 6 x 10 -6/ oC, bending strength : 0,851 – 17,859 MPa, compressive strength : 573 – 8,396 MPa. From some of sample have been made, shown optimum condition is 30% wood powder and 70 % zeolit at temperatur of sintering is1000 oC, have mullite fase in cristal orthorhombic system by XRD test. SEM test show that porous ceramic have pour size 0,25 – 5,25 μm and the distribution is not same.en_US
