dc.description.abstractResearch to design and realization of monitoring system of wind speed and direction using microcontroller. This system is used for data acquisition of wind speed and direction. The processing system of the data used IC Mikrokontroler AT89S52 that was programed with the language assembler through the 8051 IDE. The data interfacing to the computer with programming visual basic 6.0 through the communication system serial to be put forward to the computer. This research produced a monitoring system of wind speed and direction using a microcontroller. This system has been calibrated with standards nemometer and gave ralat of 12.2% The smallest wind velocity that can be measured by this system is 1.32 m/s. This system can shown sixty four cardinal direction of wind direction.en_US
