dc.description.abstract | The indoor air quality has significant impact to the human health. The air quality
component comprises of CO content. If the level of CO content is high that indicates
that the air quality is bad. In this research, the impact of CO content to the air quality
was measured. The measurement was done on December 12th 2010 in carried out
inside the building of the auditorium of the North Sumatera University Medan by
using carbon analyzer at six sampling points. The parameters involved in this air
quality measurement are velocity, temperature and humidity. The output from this
research showed that the highest CO content was 10 ppm occurred at the sixth
sampling point and the lowest CO content was 5 ppm occurred at second sampling
point, the highest air velocity was 2,8 ms-1
occurred at fifth sampling point and the
lowest air velocity was 0,6 ms-1 occurred at first sampling point, the highest
temperature was 31,2o
C occurred at the sixth sampling point and the lowest
temperature was 27,4o
C occurred at the first sampling point, and the highest humidity
was 67,5% occurred at the first sampling point and the lowest humidity was 61,3%
occurred at the sixth sampling point. | en_US |
