Auditory hallucinations are the most common sensory perception disorders experienced by patients with schizophrenia. Clients with auditory hallucinations usually hear voices or voices calling or commanding, so that clients are often seen talking to themselves, and even doing something dangerous. As many as 90% of people with schizophrenia experience hallucinations. The most common hallucinations experienced are auditory hallucinations, which are as many as 70% of patients. Factors causing hallucinations are divided into 2 categories, namely: predisposing factors consisting of genetic factors, developmental factors, neurobiological factors, biochemical, psychological, and sociocultural factors; and precipitating factors consisting of social stressor factors, psychological factors, and behavioral factors. Performing care according to professional nursing care for clients with auditory hallucinations in Medan Sunggal District starting on June 27, 2022 and ending on July 23, 2022 by conducting assessments to nursing evaluations. Based on the results of the study, a diagnosis of auditory hallucinations was obtained. The results obtained show that the client can recognize the hallucinations experienced and can control the hallucinations by rebuking, conversing, taking drugs, and compiling a schedule of activities.
