dc.description.abstractThe concrete block manufacture can be with the increase in bagasse ash of sugar cane can used also as the replacement material of some sand. This research is done for know the influence on the physical characteristics and block manufacture mechanics characteristics with the increase in bagasse ash of sugar cane, that is done with the comparison of the material of the block manufacture mixture, that is cement : sand: water is 1 : 4 : 0,5. Bagasse ash of sugar cane is mixt with the variation: 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, and 50% replace some functions of the aggregate (sand) by means of reducing the sand mass of this mass of sugarcane bagasse ash and as the standard is made by the mixture with the level of sugarcane bagasse ash 0%. Results of the research show is use 10% the bagasse ash of sugar cane in the concrete block manufacture has characteristic is better, that is water absorption of 11,9%, density of 1,81 gr/cm3 , compressive strength of 9,50 MPa, and hardness of 90,7 HB.en_US
