Automotive industry of Indonesia was enlivened by a choice variety of products
especially of the motorcycle. Many choices with the motorcycle products resulted in
rivalry, in which the object is clinched the market with most sales. Market, tough
competition in demanding companies motorcycle to capable of being decided on the
optimum strategy for their products. To the research is aimed to get strategy optimum
for the company. Case study taken is the product honda and yamaha which are shared
over three kinds of / segments motorcycle, namely duck, scooters matic and sport. On
segment of a duck in compare is Honda Supra X 125 with Yamaha Jupiter MX, on
segment scooters matic is Honda Beat with Yamaha Mio and on segment sport is
Honda Megapro with Yamaha Byson. In this research game theory used to analyze
competition between products motorcycle. The goal is to get optimum strategy for
each products. Based on the results of the analysis with game theory, on segment duck
Honda Supra X 125 excels with the optimum strategies that is the strategy of the
design and the availability of spare parts, Strategy optimal Yamaha Jupiter MX is
design and economizes oil-fueled. On segment scooters matic Honda Beat excels with
matic strategy that is optimum design and optimum strategies of promotions, Yamaha
Mio also designs and promotions. On segment sport, Honda Megapro excels with
optimum strategy that is pricing strategies, whereas the optimal strategy for Yamaha
Byson also pricing strategies.
