dc.description.abstractDysmenorrhea is menstrual pain during menstruation which interferes with a woman's daily life. The prevalence of young women in Indonesia is 21478.3 people with an incidence of menstrual pain of 64.25%. One of the non-pharmacological measures that can be used to relieve menstrual pain is the Guided Imagery relaxation technique. The purpose of this writing is to apply the Guided Imagery relaxation technique to young women who experience dysmenorrhea. This writing uses a descriptive case study by describing a case study of nursing care for young women with dysmenorrhea problems. Patients in this writing are 2 young women who are experiencing dysmenorrhea with an age range of 14 and 16 years. The management of this technique is taught to clients in 2 meetings. The results of this writing show that after the Guided Imagery relaxation technique was carried out on the first day, young women still felt pain. On the second day, young women were taught again to do the Guided Image relaxation technique, young women felt the pain began to decrease and became calmer. The conclusion of this writing is that the guided imagery relaxation technique can reduce menstrual pain by applying it periodicallyen_US
