Abstract

Third trimester of pregnancy is a pregnancy with an age of 28-40 weeks is the time to prepare for birth and position as a parent, such as focusing attention on the presence of a baby, so it is also known as waiting period. Back pain is a very disturbing feeling cause inconveniences on area back on period pregnancy approaching month seventh and occur in the area back that is from bone lateral or corner lower costa until bone tail or lumbosacral. Besides that, painful back can be felt in other parts of the body such as the upper back and base thigh. Report Pratika senior this aim for give care nursing on mother pregnant trimester III with painful back. Care nursing care performed on third trimester pregnant women who experience pain aiming back to deal with pain, independent client and overcome sleep disorder. Interventions given to treat acute pain viz with deep breathing techniques, warm compresses and massage of the lower back area. Disturbed sleep patterns are overcome by providing health education about discomfort in third trimester pregnant women related to good sleeping position for the client. The results of the evaluation show that after being given nursing care actions the problem of acute pain nursing and sleep pattern disturbances can be resolved with good.
