Dysmnorrhea is menstrual pain that is usually crampy and centred in the lower abdomen. Dysmnorrhea is classified into primary and secondary dysmenorrhea. Primary dysmenorrhea is the most common type of dysmenorrhea. The incidence of dysmenorrhea is quite large in the world with a high prevalence rate in adolescents. The high prevalence and morbidity of dysmenorrhea has received lss attention from the medical world. This is because many women are conditioned to accept the pain as normal, even though it interferes with their daily activities and reduces their quality of life. Ways to overcome dysmenorrhea include warm water comprasses and dysmenorrhea exercises.en_US
