| dc.description.abstract | Development of youth facilities, namely Medan Youth Center (Arena Youth) is intended to meet
the needs of the lack of youth facilities and infrastructure city scale . Youth as the future generation like a
given training to improve their interests and talents in the field of positive to improve leadership skills,
high competitiveness, and bounce off fair and avoid negative behavior that consumptive, socially deviant
behavior, and sexual deviation. Medan Youth Center is designed with the recreative Educative
Architecture theme interpreted in this building contain educational elements, but has the look of a
recreative. 4 types of fields that are provided through its function, which is computer technology building,
sports, arts crafts, and performing arts. The building derived from form of circle modified such that the
roof touch the soil surface that is used as a recreative element because it can be passed with a green roof.
In the landscape provided plaza, outdoor skatepark, caffe garden, sports fields, amphitheaters, outdoor
gallery, outdoor workshops, outdoor sports area, swimming pool, rock climbing, and playground. | en_US |
