dc.description.abstract | Isolation of flavonoid compound from 820 grams flowers of Red Rose(Rosa hybrida) has been done first by extraction maceration technique with methanol solvent.Methanol fraction was evaporated, was dissolved with aethyl acetate solvent, was concentrated and was evaporated. Aethyl acetate fraction was dissolved with methanol and was partitioned with n-hexane solvent. The concentrated extract of methanol acided by HCl 6%, then was partition extracted with chloroform. The concentrated extract of chloroform separated with column chromatography with stationary phase silica gel and eluent n-hexane: aethyl acetate 90:10 (v/v); 80:20 (v/v); 70:30 (v/v); 60:40(v/v). The compounds was purified with TLC preparative yieldingpaste with weight 16,1 mg with retardation factor= 0,38.The compound further was identified analysis by using spectroscopy ultraviolet Visible (UV-Vis), Fourier Transform Infra Red Spectroscopy (FT-IR) and Proton Nuclear Magnetic Resonancy Spectroscopy (1H-NMR) was estimated as flavonoid is dihydroflavonol | en_US |
