The obiective of the research is to examine the factors which influenced
employees' perfarmance at the Religious Agency ffice of North Sumatera
Province with work motivatton as modcrating variable. The research used
explanatory research method using prtmuy data. The population was 195
government employees at the Religious Agency ffice of North Sumatera
Province, and 50 of them were used as the sonples, taken by ustng prrposive
sampling technique, and the data were analyzed by using multivmiati anolysis,
The hypothesis was tested by using multiple linear regresston analysis and
moderating voriable was tested by using the exclwrge cf adjusted F -test.
The
result of the resewch showed that, simultaneousiy, work experience, cs,7eer
development, organizationcl commitment, and work ewirowneni had positive and
signtlficant influence on employees' performance- partially, organizuional
commitmenl and work environment hod positive and significant infltunce on
employees' performonce, while work experience and tooi, develipment had
positive bu instgnificant influence on employees' performonce- Wor{motivation
as moderating ,*tiable was lower the indeperdet variable correlation of work
experience, career development, organizationol commitment, ond work
environmeni with employees' pefcrmance.
