This thesis has been designed load sensor by using fiber optic based on micobending for experimental of low load detection. The aimed of this oprical fiber to quantify weight of the load. The manucfacture of the load sensor used materials 100 mesh grain of sand with mixture of 28:12 of silicon rubber. The optical fiber used single mode step index. The extension of fiber optic has done by fusion splicing method. This device used the optical fiber fusion splicer. The principal working examination of this sensor to verify response of the load sensor based of microbending. This tool used to connect the optical fiber one essence to another optical fiber. Subsenquently the sensor was tested using a stable laser night with wavelenght 1500 nm and 1,92 mW of energy. The measurement output source of energy light tight carried out by passing light through the optical fiber using Thorlabs MMD and OPM (Power Meter). The result of this research is an electrical voltage raised on MMD. The testing phase of this sensor by given a load. If it is given the greater load the output of energy will be smalle. This resesrch used 3 variation of load sensor optical fiber, there were U optical fiber shaped, straight optical fiber shaped, and double U optical fibers shaped
