dc.description.abstract | The change in allocation of a building needs the increase in structural strength
on column and retro.fitting. Structural strength is done by adding structural element on
the column by sticking connecting plate, using anchor as shear connector. The
products of anchor are available in the construction world with stronger quality than
common steel; they are produced by Hi/ti (German company), Ramset (Australia),
DiaKress (England), and Sormat (Finland).
The research was concerned with the use of several variations of the structural
pattern of anchor bolts; the type of anchor used was bonded/adhesive anchor. Pushout-
test was used to find out the behavior of anchor bolt shear in concrete column. The
behavior of thebolts which had been deformed on several variations of the structural
pattern of the bolts was observed in this research.
The result of the research showed that the average shear strength of nominal
anchor in the experiment was bigger than that of nominal anchor theoretically, the
collapse of the tested device only occurred in anchor bolts and did not occur in
concrete slab, the nominal shear strength of anchor in the tested device 1 of B U-1 was
45.37 kN (100%), the tested device 2 of BU-2 was 36. 78 kN (81.07%), and the tested
device 3 of BU-3 was 33.11 kN (72.98%). In the load distribution of combined anchor
structure 2 parallel 2, it was found that there was variance between anchor strength 1
and 2 and anchor strength 2 and 3 at 15.92%, and in the anchor structure 4 series, it
was found that there was significant variance between anchor I and the lowest anchor
(anchor 4) at 56.94% which indicated that the lowest bolt in the position of the smaller
