dc.description.abstractAnalysis has been carried out determination of free fatty acid, impurities, and moisture in palm kernel oil (PKO) in PT Adei Plantation Industry. The purpose of this analysis is to determine of free fatty acid, impurities, and moisture in palm kernel oil (PKO) located in oil palm processing companies in Duri Riau. The method used for free fatty acid content is titration method with NaOH, while the impurities is done by filtration method using vacuum pump, and then moisture by using evaporative thermogravimetry method. From the analysis results obtained free fatty acid obtained average yield of 2.90 - 4.40%, impurities is 0.017 - 0.046%, and moisture is 0.19 - 0.22%. All analyzed result data have fulfilled the standard of quality determined by SNI that is maximum free fatty acid 5%, impurities is 0,05%, and moisture is maximum 0,45%.en_US
dc.description.abstractTelah dilakukan analisa Penentuan Kadar Asam Lemak Bebas, Kadar Kotoran dan Kadar Air pada Palm Kernel Oil (PKO) di PT Adei Plantation Industry. Tujuan dari analisa ini adalah untuk menentukan kadar asam lemak bebas, kadar kotoran, dan kadar air pada palm kernel oil (PKO) yang berada di perusahaan pengolahan minyak kelapa sawit di Duri Riau. Metode yang digunakan untuk kadar asam lemak bebas adalah metode titrasi dengan NaOH, sedangkan kadar kotoran dilakukan dengan metode filtrasi menggunakan alat vacuum pump, dan selanjutnya kadar air dengan menggu nakan metode thermogravimetri penguapan. Dari hasil analisa yang diperoleh kadar asam lemak bebas didapatkan rata rata hasil 2.90 – 4.40 %, kadar kotoran 0.017 – 0.046 %, dan kadar air 0.19 – 0.22 %. Semua data hasil analisa yang diperoleh telah memenuhi standard mutu yang ditetapkan oleh SNI yaitu kadar asam lemak bebas maksimal 5%, kadar kotoran adalah 0,05%, dan kadar air adalah maksimal 0,45%.en_US
