dc.description.abstractPile foundation is a kind of foundation which is used to transfer load from the upper/super structure to the hard soil layer. In designing pile foundation, dereoniiii,tg pile carrying capacity beco;;.cs the principal problem. Determining pile carrying capacity during the designing is considered incomplete; therefore, loading test is needed to determine pile carrying capacity directly on the location of the construction. The objective of the study was to analyze the axial pile carrying capacity, based on standard penetration test (SPT) data and on loading test, to analyze the reduction of pile foundation, based on loading test data by using the calculation of finite element method, to calculate lateral pile carrying capacity by using Brooms method, and to calculate the efficiency of group pile carrying capacity. A designed load of 165 tons was equal to a loading test in the designed load of 100%. A maximum load of 330 tons was equal to a maximum loading test in a designed load of 200%. Pile carrying capacity in standard penetration test, using J.feyerhof method was 237. 70 tons, and in loading test, using Davisson method was 247.5 tons, using Mazurkiewicz method was 340 tons, and using Chin method was 384 tons. The reduction of pile foundation with a load q/200% was equal to 330 tons, based on finite element it was 9. 05 mm which was bigger than loading test in the field of 8.55 mm, elastic reduction in.finite element method was 3 mm, while in the.field it was 2.66 mm, and elastic reduction infinite element method was 6.05 mm, while in the field it was 5. 89 mm. Lateral pile carrying capacity, using Brooms method, was 12. 40 tons, and the efficiency of grouped pile carrying capacity was 66%.en_US
