Seeking for health service is an integral need of someone to have a good medical care. The are several phenomenon seeking of health service in Indonesia especially in the Kabupaten Aceh Timur, Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam Province. On of phenomenon is to look for foreign hospital such as Penang-Malaysia. The purpose of this study with explanatory research type is to analyse the determinant of seeking for health service in in West Aceh District. The Population of this study were all the people having health services in Penang-Malaysia Hospital in 2007-2008 were 45 to be samples. This study were based on the primary data which were collected through questionnaire, observation and the secondary data. The data were The data were analyzed through chi square test at the level of confidence of 95%. The result of this study shows that The result of this study shows that health facilities perception (p=0,002) nurse service (p=0,008), doctors service (p=0,009), administrative service (p=0,000), cost of health service (p=0,000), pain stripper (p=0,002),disease category (p=0,015) and health service experience (p=0,003) have related significant to the seeking for health service pattern to Penang-Malaysia Hospital. There are have not related significant age, gender, marriage status, disease type, infromation source, adviser to seeking health service, and the decision maker to seeking health service pattern to Penang-Malaysia Hospital. Its suggested needs correction of management of hospital in Indonesia especially Propinsi Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam to health service in hospital either hospital property of government and also private sector with costumer oriented, provide hospital's facility, docters and paramedics, increase counseling and hospital marketing, and increase of quality of hospital service.
