    Abstract
Couples of Reproductive Age (CRA) are couples where the wife is 15-49 years old and on average still has a long reproductive age. The use of contraceptives itself is contained in the National Family Planning Program that helps families, including individuals in the family, to plan family life well so they can achieve quality families with efforts to regulate the number of children who want to born as well as the expected distance between births. The aim is to map couples of reproductive age in the use of contraceptives in North Sumatra Province based on 2019 Susenas data. This research is quantitative descriptive to describe the use of contraceptives by map couples of reproductive age in North Sumatra Province (Based on 2019 SUSENAS data), with using Spatial Data Analysis. The results of this study show that the achievement of mCPR in North Sumatra Province for all regencies/cities has not exceeded the national achievement tag of 61.3%. This is also in line with the TFR figure in North Sumatra Province only 1 regency/city that reached the target was below the National figure of 2.28, namely Medan City with a TFR of 2.01. Likewise, the results of unmeet needs none of the regencies/cities exceeded below the National achievement target of 9.91%. The results of the achievement of active family planning of the National MKJP amounted to 23.5%, the MOW method that reached the target was only 6 out of 33 regencies/cities, for the MOP method of all districts/cities had not reached the target, for the IUD method that reached the target only 2 out of 33 districts/cities, and the implant method that reached the target was only 3 out of 33 regencies/cities.These results indicate that the rate of contraceptive use in North Sumatra Province by couples of reproductive age needs to be reconsidered.
