Analisis Koleksi Bahan Pustaka Tercetak pada Perpustakaan Universitas Sari Mutiara Indonesia Berdasarkan Peraturan Kepala Perpustakaan Nasional Republik Indonesia Nomor 13 Tahun 2017

Abstract

The objective of the research is to reveal whether the printed book collection in the Library of Sari Mutiara Indonesia University is in accordance with the Directive of the Head of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia No. 13/2017 or not. The research employs descriptive qualitative analytic method. The data are collected by conducting observation, interview, and library research, ad documentary study The samples are three informants consisting of the head of the library, the staff in charge of providing book collection and repository staff, who are selected by using purposive sampling technique. The gathered data are analyzed by conducting data reduction data presentation, verification and conclusion drawing The result of the research shows that the types of collection, the development of collection, collection of local content, and processing library materials are in accordance with the Directive of the Head of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia No. 13/2017 whereas the number of collections such as journals, subscribed scientific magazines, referential collection, repeated branding, weeding and collection preservation is not in accordance with the Directive of the Head of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia No. 13/2017.
