Background: Stroke, neurological syndrome, one of the biggest threats is the cause of disability in people's lives. The diagnosis of ischemic stroke based on examination of clinicians, plus the results of brain imaging and laboratory examinations, one of them is d-dimer value. According to some research, the d-dimer levels increased with increasing severity of stroke, especially on stroke thromboembolic. Objective: To determine the relationship of the d-dimer's value on the first day and the seventh day against clinical outporne in patients wilh acute isohemic'stroke Methods: A prospective cohort study from August until September 2016 against 30 acute ischemic stroke patients and anarnnesis, a head CT scan, the measurement of height, 'weight, body mass index, HST, d-dimer first day of hospital adrnission and the seventh day and the first and the seventh day of the Barthel Index score. Results: Of the 30 subjects are observed, there is a meaningful difference in average d-dimer's value on the first day of hospital admission and the seventh day (p < 0.05)- There are meaningful differences Barthel index score on the first day of hospital admission and the seventh day (p . 0,05), There is a negative low correlation d-dimer's value on the first day with the Barthel Index score on the first day (r :-0,383; p < 0.05). Ttrere are negative rnedium correlations of d-dimer's value of the seventh day with the Barthel Index score on the seventh day (r :-0,576; p < 0.05). Conclusion: There's a nr:gative correlation between d-dimer's value with Barthel Index score in stroke ischemic patientsen_US
