Fasilitas Aquaventure di Taman Marga Satwa Medan (Green Architecture)

Abstract

Medan Wildlife Park is a recreation place which have value as concervation and education function. As now growth more popular, then it’s animal collection and facility will enhanced.One of facility enhacement plan is waterpark, which so popular among family in Medan. To support it’s identity as a recreation, concervation and education place, this waterpark facility is made with the same function. Because it self already has recreation function, then the waterpark need something which function as concervation and education, with some similarity between them. Public aquarium is the most match choice. ‘Water’ or in Latin ‘Aqua’ becomes their similarity. To keep this city green open space stay green, this recreation place is made to keep green area as much as possible, use renewable energy source and recycle the waste. Then it’s becomes a recreation place which full with ‘aqua’ , adventure sense in it and also keep it’s nature green.
