Gulamah fish (Johnius trachycephalus) is a demersal fish which is one of the by-catch of fishermen and landed at TPI Tanjung Beringin Serdang Bedagai. This study aims to determine the growth and reproductive biology of the gulamah fish landed at TPI Tanjung Beringin. The research was carried out in June - August 2022. The number of samples of gulamah fish during the study was 137 individuals with a total length between 103 - 214 mm and a total weight between 12.77 - 126.02 grams. The growth pattern of the gulamah is positive allometric, from the condition factor it is classified as flat, namely 0.36 - 1.17. The growth parameter values of the Von Bertalanffy equation for male gulamah (L∞ and k) are 234.40 mm and 0.59 mm/year, while the female gulamah (L∞ and k) were 217.80 mm and 0.33 mm/year. Reproduction results show that the sex ratio is in a balanced state, namely 1:1.09. The maturity level of gonads for gulamah fish at TKG I – TKG IV stages, egg fecundity ranges from 19,726-110,343 eggs and based on the diameter of the gulamah eggs it is classified as a partial spawner.en_US
