dc.description.abstractPeeling papaya skin in general is still done manually,so to overcome the weaknesses and shortcomings of manual papaya peeler,then make a papaya peeler. This study aims to test the diameterof a good pulley on a papaya peeler to make it easier and faster to peel it.this study used a non-factorial completely randomized design. The diameter of the pulleys used in this study were : 4 cm, 6 cm, and 8 cm. The parameters tested are the effective capacity of the tool, yield, percentage of material left behind, peel thickness, and economic analysis. In this study, the best pulley used was the diameter of the pulley with a size of 4 cm. The results showed that the largest effective capacity of the tool (100.3 kg/jam) was on the 4 cm pulley (D1). Biggest yield (65.33 %) was on the 4 cm pulley (D1). Material left on largest tool (0.38 %) was on the 4 cm pulley (D1). The resulting average thicknees is 1.543 mm. and economic analysis 721.144/kg in the first year to the fifth year.en_US
